Sure, I’m a media junky, a radio personality, a teacher, an author, a musician and the all around CEO of Good Times. But, I’m also a single Mom with two gorgeous little girls trying to make it in the one and only Forest City. Not the Enchanted Forest City, mind you. Just plain old London, Ontario, Canada.
Are you like me? You kissed a frog and ended up with nothing but…well, a frog? Be thankful you didn’t walk away with a few warts.
You’ve been through the wringer, hell, you’ve been through the spin cycle too and you’re still standing. (Believe me, if I could have crawled back for a session with the wrinkle release option, I’d still be there!)
You can be the best mother in the world and still rush your kids into bed so you can watch Grey’s Anatomy. You can leave the breakfast dishes on the table all day long and you can send your kids to school with lunches in brown bags from the liquor store. (What? They’re very sturdy!) You can even get a babysitter and get out of the house once and a while.
Well, at least you can read about it.
